A video analyzing and quickly scripting the Constellation logo using Python


I had some fun this evening taking apart the Constellation logo graph and wrapping it into a discussion and reconstruction using the networkx Python library.

If you want to draw something like that, then as explained in the video, you just need to know that the rotation and scaling down of one hexagon to the next is given by an angle of 1/12th of a circle, i.e. pi/6 and that the scale factor of the radii of the corners is 1/sqrt(3)=0.57...
